Project: Trash Bench

Hubby brought home some scrap wood from the dump. He's not going to let good wood products go to waste. Why? Because he knows I'll make something out of it! I love it most when I'm creative. So out came the tools and a "trash bench" was born!

Repurposing any item that is landfill bound is a great thing! A little cleaning up for Mother Nature and a nice free bench to boot!

 

Another Man's Trash!

...is our new treasure. My dear one brought home a distressed wooden CD rack. It makes a perfect spring planter. He even bought and planted some new plants. Ivy, moss and wild strawberries fill this lovely little container garden.

I really like coffee.......

Some days I think coffee flows through my veins. Got to start the day off with a minimum of two cups. I go through periods of saving the grounds. The grounds get used in my garden and often I use them in my art projects. It's easy to use the grounds as a dye for paper or fabric.
